Igor Yankovsky was born on May 24, 1974 in Dniprodzerzhynsk city of Dnipropetrovsk oblast (current name — Kamianske). The citizen of Ukraine.
Father — Ukrainian industrialist, politician, Ph.D. (1998), professor Mykola Andriyovych Yankovsky.
Mother – Valentina Vasylivna Iankovskaya (born 1947). Has speciality in chemical process engineering.
Wife – Svitlana Oleksandrivna (born 1977).
Children – son Alexander (born 2001) and daughter Margaryta (born 2007)
Graduated from Dnipropetrovsk Medical College with honors.
1994 — entered the Academician Yuriy Bugay International Scientific and Technical University (at the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”)
1996 — entered Long Island University CW Post (New York, USA).
1999 — received his BA in BS Business Finance.
In 1995 he participated in the establishment and development of Trading House of “Concern Stirol”, Ukraine’s largest chemical industry enterprise, specializing in production of ammonia, nitrogen-based chemical fertilizers, polymeric materials, and pharmaceuticals. He was developing the international commerce, cultivated relationship with foreign customers.
2009 — entered the Supervisory Board of “Concern Stirol”, was at the head of Audit Committee. He was responsible for the implementation of European performance quality standards at the enterprise, networking between the structures.
Beginning from 2010, upon the sale of Concern, Igor Yankovsky became engaged in financial, commercial and investment activities in the global financial markets.
2001 — started his own business — enterprises, Diamond Sphere Group. Scopes of activities: financial services, rail and maritime transport, agriculture, mining operations, IT field, etc.
2012 — jointly with his wife Svitlana established Ukrainian Charity Foundation “Initiative for the future”. Foundation is dealing with the promotion of contemporary art, culture, supports young talents.
Starting from 2014, key areas of Foundation’s activity are implementation of medical and rehabilitation, historical and cultural, and environmental programs. From the late 2014 Foundation is engaged in social adaptation of children of internally displaced persons.
He supported “Cinema Summer Camp of Peace” for talented children residing in front-line cities of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, and children of displaced persons from conflict zone.
Organizers: “Yellow Bus” Project and NGO “New Donbas”.
Сhildren’s drawing contest “Ukraine: The Way to Peace” was held in June 2016 with the participation of this Foundation.
Jointly with NGO “All-Ukrainian Organization for the Affairs of Forcefully Displaced Citizens” made arrangement for 90 children residing in such ATO zone cities as Luhansk, Donetsk, Antratsyt, Horlivka and Mariupol to rest and to restore their health.
